Job Description
Administer and maintain the Apigee Developer/Admin Portal.
Manage portal access user roles and permissions for API consumers.
Ensure seamless integration between the Developer Portal and Apigee API Gateway.
Customize the Developer Portal to meet branding and organizational requirements.
Publish and manage API products and documentation through the portal.
Implement API monetization strategies and manage developer subscriptions.
Monitor portal performance troubleshoot issues and ensure uptime.
Collaborate with API developers to publish and update APIs on the portal.
Ensure proper security practices and governance over APIs exposed via the portal.
Skills and Qualifications:
Handson experience with Apigee Developer Portal (Drupal or integrated versions).
Familiarity with API lifecycle management and API documentation standards.
Knowledge of user management roles and access control in Apigee.
Experience in integrating Apigee Developer Portal with API Gateway.
Understanding of OAuth2 SAML and other API security mechanisms.
Experience in web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) for portal customization.
Preferred:
Experience with Apigee Hybrid or Apigee X.
Familiarity with multicloud environments (AWS GCP Azure).
Knowledge of API monetization and billing mechanisms.
