Job Title: Performance Test Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Testing: Design and execute test plans for performance load stress endurance and scalability testing.
- Environment Management: Configure and maintain test environments to ensure consistent results.
- Documentation: Create and maintain performance test cases issues and technical documentation.
- Workload Modeling: Develop realistic workload models to replicate user scenarios for testing.
- Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze test results identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations using tools like Datadog.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve performance issues and improve system reliability.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document processes and effectively communicate findings to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter K6).
- Understanding of performance testing concepts and database performance optimization.
- Programming skills in Java or a similar language.
- Experience with APM tools (e.g. Datadog).
- Knowledge of technical product architecture and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in microservices performance testing.
- Participation in opensource projects tech meetups or relevant certifications.
