Short Description:
The TSP application is a part of the TOA Database migration project to move items off of older hardware. This application combines multiple AQI applications into one and must be completed prior to the June project end date. The SMS Upgrade project is a high priority for CISO as the current SMS application resides on a platform that is out of support. The upgrade will be a full rewrite of the Microsoft Dynamics 2015 application into a custom .NET Core application. It will cover all facets of SMS including the full web application for Shelter Applications Inspections Incidents and Complaints as well as NYC DHS integration and document storage and retrieval. The RFMS project includes the application upgrade and the NAC match process which has a high priority Federally mandated change.

Responsibilities:
The System Architect will work closely with the TSP SMS and RFMS Project Manager and technical staff to evaluate and improve the current state of the TSP SMS and RFMS processes.
The candidate of this position will be responsible for but not limited to:
Reverse Engineer the logic from the older applications for incorporation into the newer TSP application Continue Design and Development of the SMS Application project
Design and Development of the RFMS Application project
Provide guidance and architecture assistance in rewriting the RFMS processes and implementing the Federally Mandated NACS Match Process.
Research and provide architectural review and direction of various other Microsoft .Net 8.0 based open system applications.
Review and maintain legacy systems as needed.
Create cradle to grave UML diagrams for entire tobe system
Provide mentoring and guidance to our .Net development staff.
Guidance and assistance in maintaining other OTDAs critical .Net applications (includes approximately 25 applications).
Establishes monitors and ensures that project goals/objectives are met; managing daily work/priorities.

Required Skills:
84 months experience designing application architecture developing & deploying ntier asp.Net Web apps using C# web WCF and REST service.
84 months experience analyzing business processes and workflows; using UML to model components and systems working with nontechnical staff to develop system specifications and resolve issues.
84 months experience using Oracle and PL/SQL packages including SQL programing and JSON objects and ORM tools.
72 months experience as a Web GUI designer including accessibility compliance and using objectoriented methodologies such as Angular Single Page Applications (SPA) Redux Angular versions 4 thru 14.
36 months experience development applications relating to government human service eligility systems.
60 months experience developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages
48 months experience developing SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) reports
48 months experience analyzing legacy code and reverse engineering logic to build documentation and updated applications in newer technology.
