Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain computer security structures including user access control software physical security and disaster recovery to ensure protection of equipment program software and data files.
- Develops procedures and contingency plans for disaster recovery including establishing offsite storage of backup computer tapes and tests the procedures to ensure adequate recovery can be accomplished for data files and software.
- Analyzes changes in the operating system data fields and software to ensure appropriate safeguards are maintained on the system.
- Conducts internal audits of computer facilities to ensure operating procedures are being followed and develops risk analysis and vulnerability studies of software and physical security.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- Typically has 10 or more years of relevant technical or business work experience.
