Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Credit function for our Student Loan product at the national level. This role requires expertise in credit underwriting a strong understanding of retail digital lending and the ability to integrate data analytics into credit decisionmaking processes. The ideal candidate will develop inhouse credit scoring models leverage technology for process automation and drive risk assessment strategies. Key Role Deliverables Credit Underwriting & Decision Making: Develop and manage an inhouse credit scoring model to assess borrower profiles effectively. Ensure robust risk assessment processes using credit scoring models and advanced analytics. Oversee endtoend credit underwriting for the Student Loan portfolio ensuring adherence to risk and policy guidelines. Retail Digital Lending: Drive the credit function for retail digital lending initiatives ensuring a seamless scalable and efficient credit process. Collaborate with technology teams to integrate credit models into digital lending platforms. Risk Management & Policy Framework: Establish and maintain credit policies and risk frameworks to align with business objectives and regulatory standards. Continuously monitor and mitigate portfolio risks through datadriven insights. Design and implement partnerlevel risk analysis to drive business while managing the credit risk.
Process Automation & Technology Adoption: Identify and implement technological solutions to automate credit processes enhance operational efficiency and improve decision turnaround time. Stay abreast of advancements in credit technology and adopt best practices for process improvement. Data Analytics & Insights: Use analytics to evaluate portfolio performance identify trends and optimize credit strategies. Provide actionable insights to refine credit policies and improve customer acquisition strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build and mentor a team of credit professionals fostering a highperformance culture. Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales operations and technology to drive organizational objectives. Preferred Profile Education: MBA in Finance Banking or a related field (preferred). Experience: 10 years of experience in credit underwriting retail digital lending and developing credit scoring models. Skills & Competencies: Proven expertise in credit underwriting and risk assessment using credit scoring models. Experience in retail digital lending and credit digital models. Strong understanding of data analytics and its application in credit decisionmaking. Ability to adopt and implement technology for credit process automation. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks in lending and credit
