Department EMBS ENGINEERING Position Electrical Design Engineer Basic Qualification BE Electrical Experience Required More than 7 years Additional Skills/Training required Electrical Engineer background Work location Mumbai Reporting To Lead EngineerElectrical Duties & Responsibilities Job Description We are looking for An experienced Electrical design engineer has 515 years of experience in the fields of Electrical / MEP design coordination construction management quality assurance testing and commissioning. We have worked on different types of projects including residential buildings villas and community developments. Responsibilities: Lead the production of shop drawings required for electrical services. Lux load calculation using dialux software Ensure layout detail and schematic design drawings are followed in the production of shop drawings. Review all electrical drawings prior to formal submission. Share important engineering information for coordinating with mechanical and public health services. Ensure all Electrical LV/MV/HV &ELV services are coordinated with each other and with mechanical equipment and other building interfaces. Carry out design verification activities to ensure compliance with codes the original design intent and best practice. Ensure engineering information is made available to the construction team in advance of site activities. Ensure electrical engineering information for construction is in compliance with codes best practice and the original design intent. Execute electrical engineering works required as a result of Contractual instructions where applicable and directed by the Engineering Manager and Project Manager. Raise RFIs to clarify anomalies and ambiguities in contract design information. Assist the Engineering Manager in achieving targets for production of electrical shop drawings. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior design engineers and CAD operatives. Assist Commercial Department with valuations and identify potential variations systems. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field 515 years of industry experience Strong knowledge of Electrical Design and computeraided design Attend and/or arrange design/coordination meetings with Main Contractor Design Team and specialist subcontractors/suppliers. Modular building experience will be added advantage
