Job Description
InfraHire is looking for a VFD & HVAC Technician in Tampa Bay FL.
Job Description:
In this role you will be responsible for installing troubleshooting and commissioning VFD units as well as performing repairs on Greenheck HVAC systems in the field.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for installing troubleshooting and commissioning VFD units as well as performing repairs on Greenheck HVAC systems in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to assess and understand their electrical needs for VFD and HVAC systems.
- Perform installation troubleshooting and commissioning of VFD units and HVAC systems at client sites.
- Inspect electrical and mechanical connections to ensure correct equipment application.
- Address equipment malfunctions and execute onsite repairs for both VFD and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose test calibrate and repair damaged VFD and HVAC equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Accurately complete work orders and maintain comprehensive records of services performed on VFD and HVAC systems.
- Ensure field instruments tools and equipment remain in proper working condition.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using field metering instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Indepth technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation.
- Strong problemsolving abilities to identify and resolve issues in VFD and HVAC electrical systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred to accommodate a diverse clientele.
- Capability to work safely with highvoltage electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols.
- Readiness to travel across Northern Central and Southeast Florida as needed.
- Possession of a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
