Job Description
Job Title: IT Infrastructure & Support Specialist (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure including servers networks and storage systems.
- Provide technical support to endusers troubleshooting hardware software and network issues.
- Monitor system performance ensure system availability and optimize resource usage.
- Install configure and update hardware software and applications.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained including firewalls antivirus and backup systems.
- Manage user accounts permissions and access rights in various systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
- Document IT processes procedures and system configurations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
- Experience with network configuration troubleshooting and security (LAN WAN VPN firewalls).
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or HyperV.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
