Job Description
Job Title: Network Infrastructure Support Specialist(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure including switches routers firewalls and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist in the design and implementation of network upgrades and expansions.
- Configure and deploy network devices and ensure their proper integration with existing systems.
- Perform regular network maintenance including patch management and updates.
- Maintain network documentation including diagrams configurations and asset inventory.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the security and compliance of network systems.
- Provide technical support to endusers and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Implement and support VPN solutions and remote access systems.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in network administration or support.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (e.g. Cisco Juniper or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs).
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds PRTG Wireshark).
- Experience in firewalls VPNs and network security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Certifications such as CCNA Network or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of VoIP systems and unified communications.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
