Job Description
Job Title: UX/UI lead(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX/UI design team in the creation of intuitive engaging and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Define and implement UX strategies design systems and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers developers and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business objectives.
- Conduct user research including interviews surveys and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes prototypes and highfidelity designs using tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe XD.
- Ensure designs are responsive and accessible across all devices and platforms.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Monitor design trends and emerging technologies to keep the team and products ahead of the curve.
- Advocate for usercentric design principles throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design HumanComputer Interaction (HCI) or a related field.
- Experience in UX/UI design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing usercentered design processes and successful project outcomes.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe XD and Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Experience with HTML CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus.
- Solid understanding of usability principles responsive design and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on user needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
