Job Description
We have partnered with a large Civil Engineering company in the Chantilly VA area to provide them with a Water Resources Project Manager. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Water Resources Project Manager:
#1. A minimum of 6 years of related professional experience
#2. Bachelors degree in civil engineering or similar degree
#3. Proficiency with Autocad
#4. Proficiency with H & H modeling software such as HECRAS HECHMS HEC1 HY8 Flowmaster
#5. Professional Engineer license (VA) or ability to obtain within six (6) months
Requirements of the Water Resources Project Manager:
- A minimum of 6 years of related professional experience
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or similar degree
- Strong mathematical/analytical skills
- Strong communication writing and organizational skills
- Strong quality control skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Autocad
- Proficiency with H & H modeling software such as HECRAS HECHMS HEC1 HY8 Flowmaster
- Professional Engineer license (VA) or ability to obtain within six (6) months
- Experience training junior level engineers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with ArcMap or similar
- Experience with writing proposals
Other Key Requirements:
- Work onsite.
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No CorptoCorp.
- Prefer someone with local experience (Client do not pay for relocation expenses).
