Job Description
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
- Primarily serve as a quality assurance software tester
- Reviewing requirements and/or user stories to develop and execute test cases scenarios and/or scripts
- Document and report test outcomes including logging bugs or defects
- Develop a test plan monitor and report progress and identify and manage dependencies
- Testing all aspects of application components for compliance with the provided specifications and user stories. Ex: usability functionality exploratory system smoke monkey and compatibility testing
- Coordinate test activities including technical and security testing with other team members and verticals
- Provide technical/nontechnical knowledge transfer of testing processes.
- Develop and/or assist with project work plans timelines status reports release notes and other documentation; disseminate information as needed.
- Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
- Three (3) years of experience with quality assurance testing of application software using varied testing methodologies
- Three (3) years of experience in developing identifying and validating appropriate test scripts and test data that ensures software functionality meets end user expectation
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
- Relevant software QA certifications
- Prior experience as a Business Analysts or Product Owner
- Prior experience documenting user stories or gathering requirements from stakeholders
- Prior experience creating user guide or onboarding materials
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops
- Previous work on a dynamic SCRUM team
Work Location
- The primary work location will be: Contractor Remote Facility.
