Job Description
Position: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Overland Park KS 66215
Pay scale: $75.00
Shift: Days
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients to visualize and assess internal structures.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment ensuring optimal functionality and image quality.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images providing accurate and timely reports to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with medical and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelors degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
- State licensure as required.
