Job Description
Position: Travel RN Labor and Delivery
Location: Riverside CA 92501
Pay scale: $105.00 per hour
Shift: Nights
Start Date : 1/27/2025
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to pregnant women during labor childbirth and the postpartum period.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor.
- Assist with the delivery process including coaching and providing emotional support to mothers.
- Administer medications and pain relief measures as prescribed.
- Collaborate with obstetricians midwives and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience.
- Educate and support new mothers in postpartum care and newborn care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and assisting with childbirth.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 2 yrs exp required
