Job Description
Contract to Hire Conversion Possible after 6 to 12 months
Citizenship: USC or GC Only
Location: Hybrid/Remote On site (Albany) New York 4 days per month
Job Responsibilities:
Endtoend ownership of the Code Management Life Cycle process.
Managing code integrations code merge creating deployment requests and managing code streams and branches.
Creating documentation from Deployment Requests and maintain documentation for each version of a new release deploy contents.
Communicating integration and deployment activities.
Working closely with Development staff to provide Development Test environment server support.
Creating Deployment Requests for all Lower environments and production releases as well as collaborating with Test leads Developers and Deploy team to coordinate creating daily deploys.
Recommending process improvements and adapting to change.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent plus six (6) years related experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in: programming testing software deployment Maven Build.
Linux system administration and/or middleware administration experience with Application Servers such as JBoss and WebLogic Experience with version control systems such as GitHub SVN Perforce BitBucket IBM Rational Team Concert Jenkins automation Ansible Bash Scripting.
Working knowledge of J2EE Application Development and related tools and technologies such as Eclipse Application Servers (WebLogic JBoss).
Solid understanding of Core Java Concepts such as Object Oriented Programming Java Collections API Exception Handling MultiThreading is required Spring Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis J2EE Concepts Architecture and
Experience with web development with clientside MVC frameworks such as HTML JavaScript Angular node.js.
Solid experience working with Linux and Jboss.
Experience working in a continuous integration/deployment development environment.
Experience with management of containers (Kubernetes Docker OpenShift etc.).
Experience with CICD orchestrations.
