Job Description:
Job Summary:

The Support Engineer for Vulnerability Management Remediation is responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers on the remediation of identified software vulnerabilities.
-
This role acts as a liaison between customers and the vulnerability management team helping customers understand and implement recommended remediation actions.
-
The Support Engineer troubleshoots issues provides stepbystep guidance and ensures customers are able to effectively address security vulnerabilities in their environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking support on vulnerability remediation

Analyse vulnerability reports and provide customers with clear steps to remediate identified issues

Assist customers with the implementation of patches updates configuration changes and other remediation actions

Troubleshoot complex technical problems related to vulnerability management and remediation
-
Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records of support cases
-
Escalate complex issues to the vulnerability management team as needed
-
Proactively follow up with customers to ensure successful remediation of vulnerabilities
-
Provide feedback to the vulnerability management team on recurring issues or areas for improvement
-
Stay uptodate on the latest vulnerability trends remediation best practices and software updates
Candidate Requirements:

25 years of experience in a technical support or IT operations role
-
Strong understanding of computer systems software and security concepts
-
Familiarity with common vulnerability types and remediation techniques
-
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities
-
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
-
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear actionable guidance for customer

Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and processes
-
Experience providing remote support and working with customers virtually
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

Professional certifications in cybersecurity IT support or software development

Prior experience in the vulnerability management or information security domain
