JOB SUMMARY:
Who were looking for:
- Clients Automated Technician Group (ATG) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated ADS (Automated Driving System) & ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) Technician.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to is to support ADS & ADAS evaluation activities conducted by ATG.
- Secondary responsibility of this role is to support maintaining ATGs facility and vehicle fleet.
- Reporting to the ATG Technician Manager the person in this role will support the IVS departments objective to ensure vehicle performance ADS / ADAS related systems.
What youll be doing:
- Supporting the maintenance functionality and safety of ATG test vehicles and facilities
- Retrofit and maintain functionality of ADS / ADAS sensors data acquisition systems and other equipment
- Support execution of public road ADAS / ADS evaluations
- Support execution of closed course ADAS / ADS evaluations
Requirements:
What you bring (Must):
- Associates in Technical Field and/or BS in Automotive Electronics Technology or equivalent technical experience
- Vehicle track/public road evaluation hands on work experience (1 yr or more)
- Ability to use data acquisition equipment
- Ability to provide vehicle troubleshooting support via phone or video conference
- Highly organized in documenting/communicating data issues accurately including technical writing and reporting ability
- Experience in updating vehicle systems software and confirming functionality
- Experience interpreting electrical systems drawings specifications manuals wire diagrams and standards
- OBD (On Board Diagnostic) and CAN (Controller Area Network) tool use experience and understanding to troubleshoot system issues
- Skilled in the use of hand and shop tools to build test fixtures disassemble and assemble vehicles
- Clean driving record
- Willingness to travel %50
What you may bring (Wants Not required)
- ADS/ADAS hands on work experience (2 yr or more)
- Ability to use the following ABD products
- Guided Soft Target (GST)
- SR/CBAR Robot test systems
- Vehicle dynamics evaluation experience
- ASE certification
- Client Driving Certifications
- Experience writing small software scripts to automate evaluations
