Job Description
Mechanical Designer
About the Job:
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer with at least 2 years of designer or project manager experience working with HVAC and using CAD. The Mechanical Designer will work under the supervision of a senior engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems including equipment selection for a variety of projects.
- Analyze system options and evaluate existing systems where appropriate.
- Coordinate project document completion within company and externally with clients.
- Complete design in accordance with code. Production is performed using AutoCAD and Revit depending on preference of architect.
- Participate in construction phase services including answering RFIs reviewing submittals and shop drawings participating in project walkthroughs and providing field assessment reports
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical focus).
- At least 2 years of designer or project manager experience working with HVAC systems and using CAD software.
