As a growing leader in the field we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to exciting ongoing and future projects.
Position Overview The Site Development Engineer will focus on private site development projects including ordinance review site layout design stormwater and soil erosion control roadway design and water and sewer systems design. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients contractors and regulatory agencies throughout project phases.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the design and engineering of private site development projects.
- Conduct ordinance reviews and develop site layout stormwater and soil erosion control plans.
- Design roadways and water and sewer systems for residential commercial institutional and industrial developments.
- Prepare and review construction documents specifications and permit applications.
- Collaborate with clients contractors and reviewing agencies to ensure project success.
- Stay updated on relevant codes regulations and industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the teams professional development.
- Present projects at municipality meetings for review and approval.
Qualifications - Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Michigan or eligible for reciprocity.
- Experience: 515 years of progressive experience in site development engineering within a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles related to site development.
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Experience with stormwater modeling software is a plus but not required.

Availability:
This is a fulltime position Monday through Friday with core hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Flexibility is available as needed.
