Job Description
TRAVELER MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION FOR THIS NEED! THIS IS A RURAL AREA WITH NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
- Prepares and assist in the set up of operating room for the scheduled procedure.
- Verify accurate and complete preparation of supplies instruments equipment and special order implants/instruments preoperatively.
- Opens and dispenses sterile items safely and accurately.
- Assess special needs related to patient history surgical procedure positioning needs and length of planned surgical procedure.
- Counts sponges sharps and instruments with scrub person.
- Accurate charge capture for items utilized in the Operating Room for patientspecific charges.
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
NonBillable Orientation: 8hrs
Holiday CallBack and OT Multipliers 1.25%
Call: BR/hour

Requirement description :
- 2 years current OR experience Required
- Scrub & Circulating experience A scrub and circulate skills checklist Must be included in traveler profile
- Ortho/Neuro experience
- EPIC EMR experience
Profile Requirements:
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position) current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications MUST be uploaded with profile
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- New Hampshire
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Call Schedule/Required to cover holidays if needed
On Call Requirements : 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
