Job Description

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician. Details are listed below.

Practice Setting: Inpatient Oncology Unit

Reason for Coverage: Coverage while we recruitRetirement

Dates of Coverage: ASAP6 months with opportunity to extend

Call Schedule: overnight telephonic call (rotating)

Call Ratio: approx 1:8

Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult Geriatric

What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology % Oncology % Internal Medicine %:

Hem60%

Onc40%

IM0%

Number of Physicians in Practice: 7

Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage yes

How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1 dedicated for inpt coverage: 11 totalsome round on the weekends

Average Number of Patients Per Day HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding) :variableapprox 520

Clinical Area: Oncology Inpatient Setting Hematology Inpatient Setting

Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): level one

Documentation System/EMR: Epic

Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse oncologist

Facility reimburse for the following costs: Provider Must be local only mileage is reimbursed

Required Procedures:

Chemotherapy Intrathecal

Required Duties:

Participation on a Tumor Board
Orders Tests
Orders Images
Prescribes

**Trinity Health does not reimburse for credentialing costs or application fees.**

Requirement description :

Board Certified/ Board Eligible Required
BC Oncologist Preferred
Active CT license Required
Conversion rate cap of 25k Required
