Job Description


Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 650 provider multispecialty group practice that has excellent opportunities for Family Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) to join a group of 68 FM providers in a brandnew 45000 square foot facility opening in fall of 2025 in the suburbs of Boise Idaho. We are seeking multiple new physicians for this location and would welcome Residents who are training together currently and would like to continue to practice together!

Job Description
  • Start Date: MidSeptember 2025
  • Accepting Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates who will become Board Certified within 3 years of employment.
  • Candidates must have completed an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program.
  • Saint Alphonsus Caldwell Health Plaza opening in October 2025 will serve community members seeking wellness diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation services in a convenient and accessible environment located directly off I84.
  • Services will include Urgent Care Family Medicine Pediatrics Occupational Medicine Diabetes Care & Education Sleep Medicine Orthopedics Heart Care Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy and onsite Lab Xray and Pharmacy.
  • Practice Setting: Clinic
  • Reason for Coverage: Expanding to new facility and need additional providers
  • Fulltime schedule: 34 patient contact hours with the option for a 4 or 5day work week.
  • Shift hours: Approximately 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Call schedule: Shared with other eligible Family Medicine providers; approximately 1:40. To include weekends as part of the call rotation.
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC including AI charting capabilities.
  • Open to Locum to Perm candidates (submit to job #TBD)
  • Not open to 1099 candidates
  • Not open to visa candidates
  • Not open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedules
  • May consider candidates who were previously Board Certified and need to obtain again (casebycase)
  • May consider commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment (casebycase)
