Job Description
Location: Jersey City New Jersey
Duration: Long term Contract
Primary technical responsibility of this position will be to manage all aspects of the ControlM Scheduling function Administration and migrations from other schedulers to ControlM Expert understanding of Workload Automation (WLA) platforms as a SME With a preference from ControlM with Version 9.0.18 or later.
Administration Experience in Zos/Mainframe ControlM implementation / a good understanding on mainframe batch architecture is desirable experience in setting up a new ControlM or WLA environment in Linux / Oracle or Postgre databases.
Migration from third part scheduling tools (CA7 / Autosys/Automic or UC4) to ControlM
A good understanding on securing communication between batch component security with SSL firewalls etc..
Strong understanding of ControlMM concepts and components. Able to perform troubleshooting at component level.
Participate in DR and business continuity tests and support the design and functions of high availability solutions.
Delivery implementation and support of ControlM Addons like MFA and other plugin/Forecast/batch Impact Manager/Self Service/File Transfer etc..
Familiar with implementing site standards and usage of Workload Change Manager.
Preferred skills SQL skills awareness of DB architecture / DB replication Oracle / Postgre etc..
Understanding of Cloud infrastructure deployment AWS Microsoft Azure or Google etc..
Able to run various custom reports from the Reporting Facility to audit usage.
Configure and troubleshoot Schedulers and WLA Agent issues.
Integration of different ITSM Tools LDAP etc. with ControlM.
Batch development and scheduling skills and ability to manage critical process workflow.
Should be able to support application team with implementing ControlM for their jobs.
Coordinate with App Dec in analyzing and troubleshooting issues.
Manage workload and identify critical services and provide solutions to application team to optimize resource used.
Basic administration skills operating systems Unix Linux Windows
BC ControlM / SME One automation Autosys or any additional WLA tools
Good working knowledge in one or more Python shell scripting powershell SQL SCP SSH Oracle Tandem Linux
Familiar with Control M Workbench API DevOps Tools like Saltstack GIT Nexus etc.
