The starting hourly pay for a Loader at our Hanford site is: $28.41 

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks railcars and totes in accordance with Tessenderlo Kerley policy and OSHA BOE EPA HM126 and DOT regulations.
• Contain clean up package and label Hazardous Waste according to HAZWOPER training and OSHA EPA RCRA HM126 and DOT regulations.
• Complete and sign Bill of Ladings and other paperwork associated with the loading and unloading process. Obtain samples of trucks and railcars loaded.
• Participate in the plant safety program including presenting and attending required safety meetings reporting potential hazards and performing monthly safety inspections.
• Routinely inspect vessels and equipment to prevent equipment failure or damage.
• Maintain plant property in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Assist in plant projects including maintenance turnaround Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) piping flushing and confined space entries.
• Implement an emergency response plan and assist in the mitigation of emergency situations.
• Fill out work permits Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) permits and work orders.
• Handle and operate site equipment (vehicles) Trackmobile manlift scissor lift and forklift.
• Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical and mechanical experience is desired.
• Good mechanical and technical knowledge and skills.
• Must be able to read and understand the material.
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate must have basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb stairs/ladders as needed.
• Ability to lift/carry 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in cold and hot weather.
