Job Description
Smit Lamnalco has an opening for an:
Parttime Law student (12 16 hours per week)
Learn and Earn
In this role you are a member of the Group Legal Department working closely with the Treasury Department assisting with managing and updating international bank records across multiple international and local foreign banks for multiple foreign entities.
This includes opening and closing bank accounts drafting board resolutions required Know Your Client documents and collecting the required information.
This requires amongst others the ability to independently process legal corporate documents including legalizations and ensuring the files are kept up to date on the shared database.
This is a temporary role and a great opportunity for an advanced student to gain (further) work experience in an international environment.

Your profile:
The ideal candidate has:
- an excellent understanding and knowledge of the English language (both oral and in writing)
- good communication skills.
We are looking for someone who is flexible cooperative sociable and has a strong attention to detailed balanced by a resultsdriven mindset to ensure both precision and progress. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with Word and Excel has a proactive attitude toward improving processes demonstrates an interest in contract or corporate law and lives or studies in Rotterdam. Affinity with the maritime sector is a plus.
