The role

We are recruiting for a highly organized and proactive sales assistant for our CPG sales organization.

This role combines administrative support for the sales team and a focus on streamlining data and administrative processes. Ensuring efficiency in data in and output and improving overall operational workflows. The ideal candidate is a system thinker and is motivated to enhance productivity through process improvements.

The role is based in Brussels and will join the sales team consisting out of a Key Account team Shopper & customer marketing team and Field Sales team and will report to the Group Key Account manager.


Your main responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for planning implementation & follow up of sales activities such as promotions & product launches using JDE & customer systems.
  • You act as point of contact for our customers addressing inquiries and resolving issues (eg. data invoice differences product visuals promo inputs online drive availabilities)
  • You coordinate with internal departments (e.g supply chain finance) to ensure smooth implementation and alignment of sales activities
  • You are responsible for the administrative support to the key account management team
  • You prepare regular sales activity updates and reports for the team and support in preparing sales materials and organizing trade fairs.
  • You are responsible for supporting the KAMs to prepare sales materials and to organize fairs
  • You create clear documentation and workflows to ensure consistency in data handling and reporting
  • You identify repetitive or timeconsuming tasks and implement automated or simplified processes
  • You assist in the implementation of new tools or procedures that enhance team productivity

For this role we are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You have a master or bachelor degree 
  • You have minimum 2 years of experience in a role focused on sales support process improvement or data coordination ideally in the FMCG sector
  • Eager to learn and to improve processes ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A proactive and problem solving mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office and familiarity with data management tools
  • Understanding of data flows in sales and operational environment
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French and have a good understanding of English
