Were looking for a Senior Product Analyst who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders to partner with our financial crime product teams to help drive datadriven and innovative growth decisions while helping to combat financial crime. At Wise we strike a critical balance between user experience and the stringent demands of risk prevention.

The Screening team is building a robust control framework to ensure the entire Wise product portfolio is covered with essential screening checks and prevent onboarding of sanctioned individuals  organisations and politically exposed people. We ensure that associated risks are thoroughly mitigated and that controls are functioning effectively. As part of this effort we are also focused on enhancing the customer experience making it easier and more convenient for customers impacted by sanctions to provide necessary information and documents while ensuring clear communication throughout the process.

As a Senior Product Analyst youll be driving analytics efforts in the Screening team that balances the work between preventing financial crime and enabling a smooth customer experience. Youll collaborate closely with your product managers engineers and operational teams to bring your insights into real change for our customers and help drive our mission! 

Youll also be a part of a wider team of over 100 Analysts! Youll get to collaborate on crossteam projects develop technical skills and bring ideas about how we can improve analytics across Wise. 

Your mission:

Heres how youll be contributing to the Financial Crime team:

• Youll expose the vast data on our processes to the product teams across Wise in a meaningful and actionable way in which people can proactively access the information without friction or need for analyst assistance
• Proactively contribute to own create track key metrics and results  for your product team keeping them accountable throughout the quarter
• Support stakeholders by conducting research preparing reports and visualisations
• Building the framework for managing risk and customer experience at scale
• Drive the discovery phase by scoping new opportunities and suggesting initiatives to improve our investigation tooling and processes
• The role requires collaboration with Product Engineering and Operations Team

Qualifications :

A bit about you: 

• You have strong quantitative skills. Ideally a background in statistics maths physics engineering or other scientific area 
• You have experience with SQL and Python/R 
• You have strong communication skills and an ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
• You have an ability to structure business problems with minimal supervision and an ability to prioritise problems independently as well as condense complex systems/ideas into simpletounderstand models
• Hustlermentality. You can take work beyond the analysis and get things done
• You have experience with data visualisation tools (Looker PowerBI Tableau etc.) and demonstrate storytelling ability with data
• You have 4 YOE analysing data in a professional setting
