Job Description

Sr. Portfolio Release Manager:

The Sr. Portfolio Release Manager is responsible for developing planning and managing the endtoend process of releasing products to market or internal stakeholders. This role ensures that all aspects of the product release from intake to launch are executed smoothly and on time. They collaborate with crossfunctional teams to minimize risks address issues and ensure the successful delivery of the services and offerings according to the strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a release strategy that aligns with the overall portfolio roadmap and organizational priorities.
  • Develop the GLD services and offering release lifecycle from intake through to market delivery. Oversee multiple releases across the portfolio ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Lead the end to end release process across multiple teams (e.g. development operations sales communications support) to ensure all aspects of the release are on track. Manage release risks and issues proactively addressing any roadblocks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Create and enforce clear release governance and standards across GLD. Implement tools and methodologies to streamline release planning and execution.
  • Facilitate discussions with executive stakeholders to align on priorities and resolve conflicts. Ensure resource allocation aligns with capacity planning and organizational goals. 

Qualifications :

  • 7 years of experience in portfolio or release management project management or operations (Learning and Development experience a plus)
  • Experience managing large scale global programs
  • Proven success in managing multiple concurrent releases
  • Skills Leadership and collaboration Strategic Thinking Problem Solving Communication Technical Proficiency
