What we are looking for

As a member of our development team the Senior Java Developer will design and develop high volume low latency applications for missioncritical systems delivering high availability. You will support webbased application development and maintenance and contribute to and grow our software engineering competency. The Java Developer must have broad experience in web application development.

Financial or Mobile Services experience a distinct plus. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop software under scrum methodology producing highquality features that adhere to acceptance criteria.

• Review other developers code to ensure they also build highquality features and code following best practices.

• Collaborate with project managers to implement endtoend solutions for complex projects.

• Create technical designs for features and work with architects to finalize designs.

• Maintain and support the applications you build.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree OR 5 years of
relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD
MD)
BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject.
5 years of experience in Java development.
Experience with Spring framework (Spring Spring MVC Spring Boot Spring
Security etc)
Write welldesigned testable efficient code.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Handson experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE
platforms.
Experience in implementing RESTful web services.
Objectoriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases SQL and NoSQL.
Experience with JBoss application server.
Experience with testdriven development.
Experience designing APIs supporting client applications.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and
technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Experience with Docker.
Experience with Angular.
Software and Programs:
Spring framework (Spring Spring MVC Spring Boot Spring Security etc) REST
APIs Angular Docker SQL and NoSQL DBs.
Education Level: Bachelors.
Years of Experience: 5 to 7 years.
Languages: English and Spanish.
