Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


The Account Manager is responsible for contributing to the achievement of the revenue objectives for the short term and long term sales target through effectively managing customer relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction and expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the service and project operation teams to ensure quality services are delivered as agreed with the customers.
Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure proper invoices are produced and payment are collected as agreed with the customers.
Manage relationships with key customers at the opportunity management level
Create and expand customer base in line with company strategies by covering all of assigned accounts.
Work with partners and suppliers regarding pricing information, new products, delivery issues and market coverage.
Prepare and submit commercial proposals to customers.
Prepare costing sheets to view GP value achieved in each sales deal.
Stay up to date of latest technologies and products.
Stay up to date and research on emerging technologies impact on customers’ business.
Recommend new ideas to increase customer satisfaction and sales
Client Relationship Management
Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they understand the products or services offered and the processes for support and communication.
Building Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term, positive relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to the company.
Regular Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Maintain regular communication, including meetings, phone calls, and emails, to stay updated on client needs and ensure that expectations are being met.
Client Retention: Work proactively to retain clients by identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring high levels of satisfaction


Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Management
Certification in Management Information Systems
6 - 8 years of sales experience, preferably in IT solutions. Experience in Qatar market is preferable.
fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
Account Growth and Development
Identify Upsell/Cross-sell Opportunities: Identify opportunities to sell additional products or services to clients (upselling) or offer complementary services (cross-selling) to increase revenue within existing accounts.
Account Reviews: Conduct regular account reviews with clients to discuss performance, challenges, and future opportunities. Ensure the company is meeting agreed-upon deliverables and provide solutions for any issues that arise.
Proposal Creation: Develop and present proposals or presentations to clients for new business opportunities, renewals, or changes in services.
Account Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding accounts, including introducing new offerings or broadening the scope of current engagements.
Project Management and Delivery
Coordination with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product development, customer support) to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Monitor Project Timelines: Ensure that all client projects are completed on time and within budget. Track project milestones and communicate with clients regarding progress.
Problem Resolution: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the course of the account's lifecycle. This could include managing service interruptions, addressing customer concerns, or finding creative solutions to meet client needs.
Client Satisfaction: Ensure that clients are satisfied with the services or products provided. Conduct surveys or feedback sessions to gauge client satisfaction and make improvements where necessary.
