Job Description
Our client is an international leader in its field with its headquarters in Bern Switzerland. The work environment is supportive with very low turnover. Many employees spend their entire careers here due to opportunities for growth.
We are looking for a Risk Prevention Engineer for a permanent position in Switzerland.
This position is remote ideally based near Zurich Bern or Basel.
Our client will train the engineer in the specifics of this field. Therefore we are primarily seeking a technical profile who is eager to learn about industrial risks (fire explosion natural disasters).
After a training period in France and the United States you will join the Engineering department as a Consultant to work with major industrial clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will identify and assess industrial risks by visiting clients' industrial sites to conduct audits.
- You will write plans to reduce industrial risk levels and provide recommendations acting as a consultant.
- You will ensure proper implementation of these recommendations.
PROFILE:
- You have an engineering background with 35 years of experience in engineering roles related to chemistry (training will be provided so flexibility regarding technical specialization).
- You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable interacting with clients.
- You have project management experience.
- You are curious enjoy learning continuously and are interested in multidisciplinary roles.
- Comfortable in an international environment you speak French English and German fluently (German is Mandatory).
