Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Berkeley Gloucestershire. This flexible role offers the opportunity for fulltime or parttime hours with weekday shifts from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The role can be focused on consultations only or a mix of consultations and operations depending on your preference. No outofhours or weekend work is required making this position ideal for those seeking a great worklife balance.

Duration: Ongoing
Work Schedule: Flexible weekdays (fulltime or parttime considered)
Shifts: 8:30 AM 6:30 PM (onehour break)
Role Type: Consultations only or Consultations & Operations
OutofHours (OOH): None
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations providing thorough examinations diagnosis and treatment plans for a wide variety of cases.
- Option to perform surgeries and other medical procedures as required depending on preference.
- Provide excellent communication with clients delivering advice on treatment plans postoperative care and general pet care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Strong experience in small animal consultations and/or surgery depending on your chosen focus.
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
