Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Blackburn from 11th November 2024 to 3rd February 2025. This role offers a 4day work week with shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Accommodation is available for those needing it making this an excellent opportunity for locum vets from outside the area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform consultations diagnoses and treatments for a wide range of small animal cases.
- Carry out routine and emergency surgeries as required.
- Provide excellent communication and compassionate care to clients and their pets.
- Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of care and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Experience in both small animal medicine and surgery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
