Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Slough Berkshire. This ongoing position offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work required. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills be a strong team player and be able to deliver compassionate care to our patients.
Location: Slough Berkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
Shifts: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality nursing care to all patients including pre and postoperative care.
- Assist veterinarians during consultations surgeries and diagnostic procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records for each patient.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the clinic including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Provide advice and support to pet owners offering guidance on postoperative and general animal care.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Veterinary Nurse currently registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Experience in a veterinary practice with strong clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy practice environment.
