Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ambulatory Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Newbury Berkshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Job Title: Ambulatory Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Newbury Berkshire
Working Hours: Typically this is a fulltime role working 45 hours Monday Friday however we are happy to discuss parttime during the standard working week. The position will require participation in a 1 in 7 outofhours rota. Out of hours work is relatively quiet and does not include stud work anaesthesia or clinic admissions which are covered by separate teams
Salary: Up to 75000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations diagnostics and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed including spaying neutering and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care feeding and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories treatments and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
