Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in York North Yorkshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Location: York North Yorkshire
Working Hours: This is part time for 1 or 2 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays opening hours are 9am 5pm. There are no OOHs Sundays or bank holidays with this role.
Salary: 40000

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations diagnostics and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed including spaying neutering and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care feeding and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories treatments and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
