Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Wolverhampton West Midlands. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Wolverhampton West Midlands
Working Hours: There are no out of hours with this role. The rota would generally be working between 9am and 7pm worked over days with a 1 in 5 Saturday rota from 9am to 4pm.
Salary: Up to 75000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations diagnostics and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed including spaying neutering and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care feeding and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories treatments and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
