Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Chesterfield. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering highquality veterinary care.
Location: Chesterfield Derbyshire
Employment Type: Full or Parttime (Flexible working patterns available)
Salary:per annum (pro rata depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations and examinations of animals to diagnose conditions.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Provide emergency treatment and care to patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other veterinary professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate pet owners on preventive care nutrition and overall health management.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a valid veterinary license.
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice is essential.
- Strong surgical skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a flexible work schedule.
