Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Southwest London from December to midJanuary. The role is for Tuesdays Wednesdays and every other Saturday with the potential to extend based on business needs.
Contract Type: Temporary (December to midJanuary)
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultations: Mainly consulting providing expert care and advice to clients and their pets.
- Surgical Procedures: Willingness to perform routine surgical procedures when required.
- Sole Charge: Saturday shifts (9 am 6 pm) will involve sole charge so confidence in working independently is essential.
Working Hours:
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 8 am 6 pm or 9 am 7 pm (depending on clinic needs)
- Saturday (every other): 9 am 6 pm (sole charge)
Requirements:
- Qualification: Must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with full RCVS registration.
- Experience: Strong experience in consultations and routine surgeries is required.
- Skills: Ability to work independently especially during sole charge shifts and excellent client communication skills.
