Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal practice in Blackburn Lancashire for a temporary period from 18th November 2024 to 24th January 2025. This role requires working three days per week providing general consultations performing routine surgeries and delivering highquality care to our patients.
Location: Blackburn Lancashire
Contract: Temporary (18/11/2024 to 24/01/2025)
Working Hours: 3 days per week
Shift Times: 09:00 18:00
Key Responsibilities
- Perform consultations diagnostics and treatments for small animals.
- Carry out routine surgeries and monitor postoperative care.
- Provide clear and supportive communication to clients regarding their pets health and treatment options.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain excellent standards of care.
- Keep accurate and detailed medical records.
Requirements
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
- Strong clinical diagnostic and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and clientfacing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
