Vet Surgeon Wanted
About Us:
We are an experienced team of 5 vets led by our practice owner and Vet Helen. With our vets having graduated between 5 and 20 years ago we enjoy extensive case discussions and ensure support is always available. Our team works alongside a fantastic nursing team consisting of 6 RVNs and 1 SVN who are encouraged to utilize their skills to the fullest ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
Team WellBeing:
We place a strong emphasis on team wellbeing. This is reflected in our diary arrangements which allow time to thoroughly workup cases and take necessary downtime during the day. Our practice includes a beautiful garden area for relaxation and enjoyment an indoor colleague area for colder days a wellbeing board for team recognition and organizing social events two mental health firstaiders available for support regular practice and vet meetings to facilitate input into our ways of working and WhatsApp chat groups for additional case discussions and support.
Accreditations and Client Care:
We are an RCVS accredited practice with notable achievements. Outstanding status for Client Service and Team and Professional Responsibility from the RCVS. ISFM accreditation at bronze level from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM). Our commitment to client care has resulted in a friendly and loyal client base with a significant percentage of insured pets allowing us to keep cases inhouse where appropriate. We welcome peripatetic specialists including an orthopaedic surgeon ultrasonographers and cardiologists providing continuity and high standards of care within our practice.
