Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Newton Abbot Devon on a temporary basis. The position will run from 4th October 2024 to 30th November 2024 and requires a commitment of five days per week. The role involves routine surgeries general consultations and delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Location: Newton Abbot Devon
Contract: Temporary (04/10/2024 to 30/11/2024)
Working Hours: 5 days per week
Shift Times: 08:00 18:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general consultations and a variety of small animal surgeries.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal conditions.
  • Ensure effective communication with clients regarding treatment plans and options.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Keep detailed and accurate medical records for all patients.

Requirements

  • MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
