Job Description
GLG Vets is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Clinical Lead to join a thriving practice in Scarborough North Yorkshire. This is a unique role perfect for a veterinary professional ready to take on leadership responsibility while maintaining a healthy worklife balance.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who is confident with routine surgery and comfortable working occasional sole charge. The role is fulltime offering 40 hours per week including every other Saturday morning. There are no Sundays or outofhours (OOH) duties allowing you to focus on providing excellent care during your working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the clinical team supported by a dedicated Head Nurse and Practice Manager.
- Perform routine surgeries and manage medical cases with confidence.
- Take on occasional sole charge responsibilities with the support of the team.
- Foster strong relationships with clients ensuring a high standard of care.
- Help guide the practice through an exciting rebrand contributing to its growth and development.
- Support the team in driving a positive professional and collaborative working environment.
Key Requirements:
- A qualified and experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
- Confidence in routine surgeries and occasional sole charge work.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
- A commitment to high standards of animal care and client satisfaction.
