Permanent Veterinary Surgeon Wakefield
Location: Wakefield West Yorkshire

About The Practice:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join the friendly and dedicated team in Wakefield. This purposebuilt standalone surgery is located just 20 minutes from Leeds and with the stunning Yorkshire Dales right on the doorstep. The location offers the best of both worlds proximity to vibrant city life and excellent local amenities as well as easy access to the Yorkshire countryside and beaches.
The practice is ideally positioned at the junction of the M1 and M62 providing convenient access to the rest of the country with London just 2 hours away by train and Edinburgh 3.5 hours.
The Practice:
They boasts stateoftheart facilities including a corneal diamond burr highspec ultrasound and surgical equipment for both orthopaedic and complex soft tissue surgeries. The surgery is also equipped with endosurgery tools for laparoscopic procedures allowing for highquality care for pets in a modern and wellequipped setting.
The Role:
This role offers full flexibility in hours allowing both fulltime and parttime arrangements. There are no outofhours or latenight shifts and ideally the successful candidate will work some Saturday mornings on a fair rota with the rest of the team. The practice is looking for an experienced vet who is comfortable with sole charge and can confidently manage routine medical and surgical cases that arise in general practice.
