Language and Learning Foundation () is a New Delhibased nonprofit organization with the vision of enhancing equitable student learning especially language and literacy development through the professional development of teachers and teacher educators building/sharing knowledge and implementing projects in collaboration with state governments. LLF currently works with 7 state governments across the country.

LLF is a systemfocused and impactdriven organization dedicated to addressing the foundational learning crisis in collaboration with the national and state governments in India. Over the past 8 years we have improved foundational learning outcomes of 850000 children and classroom processes of 250000 teachers and teacher educators across 8 states. Position Description

The Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Creative Communications Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role you will lead our social media and website presence drive the development of creative communication strategies and enhance LLFs digital footprint to amplify our impact in the development sector.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy and Management

  • Content Development: Create engaging and informative social media posts for various platforms to enhance audience engagement.

  • Trend Awareness: Leverage current social media trends particularly those relevant to the development sector to boost LLFs online visibility.

  • Audience Engagement: Engage with the target audience to ensure active community interaction and quick response times on all platforms.

  • Visual Content Creation: Use design tools and video editing software to produce compelling reels and visual content.

2. Content Creation and Thought Leadership

  • Content Development: Produce highquality written and visual content for communication materials such as newsletters reports and LLFspecific resources.

  • Thought Leadership: Write thoughtprovoking blog posts on LinkedIn and other platforms to position LLF as a thought leader in the education and development sector.



3. Creative Strategy and Brand Enhancement

  • Communication Strategy: Support the development and execution of creative communication strategies that strengthen LLFs brand identity and messaging.

  • Innovation: Infuse creativity into messaging visuals and content to ensure the relevance and appeal of LLFs communications.

4. Collaboration and Feedback Integration

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights for content development.

  • Adaptability: Adapt communication strategies based on stakeholder feedback to maximize relevance and impact.


Qualifications Experience and Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in communications Marketing Advertising or a related field (required).

  • Advanced degree or specialization in Development Studies or a relevant discipline (preferred).

Experience

  • 79 years of proven experience in content creation social media management or communications.

  • Experience as a brand manager in the FMCG sector an account manager in an advertising agency or a communications lead within the development sector or related industries.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms develop effective content strategies and produce highquality written and visual content for diverse audiences.

Skills Required

  1. Exceptional English copywriting skills (must) and Hindi copywriting skills (desirable) with the ability to tailor content for different social media platforms and audiences.

  2. Proficiency in content creation and management for all social media platforms and websites.

  3. Proficiency in design and media tools including:
    • Design software (Canva Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop or similar).

    • Mass mailer software (like Mailchimp or similar).

    • Basic video editing tools (mobile/desktop) and experience in creating multimedia content.

  4. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with crossfunctional teams.

  5. Ability to work independently manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
