Job Description

Senior Radio Engineer

Job Description: The Senior Radio Engineer will design implement and maintain radio systems. Responsibilities include managing FCC and licensing protocols working with Motorola 700 MHz radios and maintaining tower console and repeater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design implement and maintain radio systems.
  • Manage FCC and licensing protocols.
  • Work with Motorola 700 MHz radios.
  • Maintain tower console and repeater systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with FCC protocols Motorola 700 MHz radios and both Low and Hi Band radio systems.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or a related field.

Work Locations:

  • Work must be performed onsite at all DPSCS locations across the State with potential authorization for remote work at the discretion of the Contract Monitor.
  • Primary work locations include DPSCS Reisterstown Road Plaza Office Center (RPOC) in Baltimore MD and Maryland State Police (MSP) in Pikesville MD.
  • Secondary work locations include various DPSCS facilities across the State.
