We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Valuation Analyst to join our team. As a Valuation Analyst you will play a key role in providing accurate and reliable valuation analysis for various financial instruments assets and companies. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial research analyzing market trends and evaluating the economic environment to determine the value of assets and investments.
Responsibilities:
Perform valuation analysis on a wide range of assets including stocks bonds derivatives private equity investments real estate and other financial instruments.
Analyze financial statements market data and economic indicators to assess the value of companies and assets.
Develop financial models and projections to estimate the present and future value of investments.
Conduct industry research and benchmarking analysis to support valuation assumptions.
Prepare valuation reports and presentations for internal stakeholders clients and regulatory authorities.
Collaborate with internal teams such as finance accounting and legal to gather relevant information for valuation analysis.
Stay uptodate on industry trends regulations and best practices related to valuation methodologies.
Assist with due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions financial reporting and other corporate transactions.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior management and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. CFA ASA or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 25 years of experience in financial analysis investment banking or valuation services.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of US GAAP SEC regulations and valuation standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.
Understanding of different valuation methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF) comparable company analysis and precedent transactions analysis.
