Nurse Manager Emergency Department (Nights)
Location: Boston MA
Salary Range: $145000.00 $160000.00
Signing Bonus: Available

Position Overview
HireNow Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Nurse Manager to oversee the operations of our Emergency Department (Adult ED Psych ED and Pediatric ED). This role involves managing daytoday activities such as employee evaluations recruitment retention and engagement while ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
This is a fulltime nightshift position with a focus on leadership team development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department during night shifts.
- Conduct employee evaluations and foster a culture of engagement and retention.
- Ensure patient care aligns with hospital policies department standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage team performance and address challenges effectively.
- Coordinate across the Adult Psych and Pediatric Emergency Departments to maintain seamless patient care.
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited BSN program (required).
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Massachusetts RN license (required).
- Certification in a related specialty is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 35 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department (required).
- Prior experience as a charge nurse or in a supervisory role (preferred).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong analytical and managerial abilities to supervise staff and implement policies effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to navigate challenging conversations.
- Proficiency with healthcare software such as MS Word Outlook EMR systems and patient registration tools.
