Position Summary:
The Data Analyst gathers interprets and uses complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results. Daytoday the Analyst assesses company and client needs receives robust information and analyzes it looking for trends or areas for improvement. The Analyst then delivers that information to the partners and clients and uses it to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of a service product or system.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Management:
- Gather clean and maintain data from multiple sources ensuring its integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and manage databases dashboards and data pipelines to streamline reporting processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure proper data governance and access controls.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Perform descriptive and predictive data analyses to support business decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards KPIs and performance metrics for teams such as sales finance and operations.
- Prepare periodic and adhoc reports to identify trends insights and opportunities for improvement.
Strategy and Insights:
- Provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze market trends customer behavior and partner performance to inform business strategies.
- Support management in forecasting and budgeting through advanced data modeling techniques
Tools and Automation:
- Leverage tools such as SQL Python R or Power BI to enhance data analysis and visualization.
- Identify opportunities for automation in data processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Economics Computer Science or related field.
- 24 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) and data manipulation software (e.g. Excel Python or R).
- Experience in cannabis or other regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Night shift experience preferred
