About the Role
The Electrical Systems Technician is responsible for assembling wiring and integrating electrical control panels with equipment ensuring they meet design specifications and functional requirements. This role requires a keen understanding of electrical schematics high and lowvoltage systems and the ability to work with various panel components. The ideal candidate is detailoriented adaptable and possesses a strong problemsolving mindset with experience in troubleshooting and programming being a valuable asset.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on provided schematics and blueprints ensuring accuracy and functionality.
- Integrate control systems into equipment including highvoltage connections while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics to accurately wire circuits connections and components.
- Troubleshoot and repair control panel and equipment integration issues as they arise.
- Work with various panel components including switches safeties relays and other critical elements.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to test and validate electrical systems and integrations.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace adhering to workplace safety protocols.
- Document and update wiring diagrams schematics and other relevant technical information as required.
Qualifications:
- 1 years of handson experience in building and assembling electrical control panels.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of electrical panel components including switches safeties relays and more.
- Experience with high and lowvoltage electrical systems including integration with equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with advanced electrical system testing tools and procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Formal technical training or certification in electrical systems or related fields.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for electrical control systems and equipment integration.
